Jutta E. Rasp, founder of the company FPExperts, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in marketing and sales of FPExperts. Ms. Rasp held various leading management positions within the flat panel industry. Her last assignment as Director Europe and Director Global Sales OLED for DuPont Displays had been continuing the success story which started with a strong technical engagement as physicist. Having worked in R&D for surface modification and LCDs at Daimler-Benz AG followed by her assignment as head of the technical department for Spanish LCD manufacturer Crystaloid.
She started and managed the European activities for Samsung Semiconductor´s TFT-LCD sales & marketing. She was instrumental in achieving #1 position for active matrix liquid crystal displays (AM-LCDs) in Europe and in gaining the leadership role in Europe´s notebook, monitor, instrumentation, medical, infotainment and game machine markets. Additionally Ms. Rasp had been an active member of the SEMI Standard forum for FPExperts, working towards global standardisation of vocabulary for production , quality control, quality assurance and specification content of FPExperts and flat panel display systems.
Following this five-years assignment during which she received the worldwide award "Samsung Recognition for best Marketing Performance" Ms. Rasp created a flat panel division for EBV Elektronik and WBC, two leading European electronic component distributors, and heading the marketing department of the globally acting flat panel display service company Display Products Technology. Both benefited from Mrs. Rasp´s experience by receiving an outstanding increase in market recognition and revenue growth within the first year of her engagement.
One factor in Jutta Rasp´s success in efficiently setting up technology marketing & sales operation and generating outstanding market recognition and revenue growth is her strong technical background combined with the ability to successfully assemble teams, build networks and recognise market trends, financial and business needs at a very early stage.
She is an invited speaker for flat panel display, organic electronics, authentication and RFID technology, markets, trends as well as self-motivation, team-building and Asian business behaviour.
Ms. Rasp holds an M.Sc. in Physics and has successfully concluded her studies in chemistry, electronics, business studies, marketing, psychology and coaching techniques. She has been working in various countries on different continents, enabling a comprehensive in-depth understanding of the different business cultures and ability to moderate between regional differences by using this experience and her extensive language skills. At various NPOs she is invited as officer, committee member or advisor; e.g. Financial Officer of SID Mid European Chapter, Technical Committee Member of SID. Jutta E. Rasp is one of the principals in FPExperts, heading the company´s worldwide activities.
